…so now you are updated on the different scams going on in Bangkok, and with this information we think you should go and pay The Grand Palace a visit – because there is a reason why it has become one of the worlds most famous sightseeing spots. The Palace has been the official residence for the kings of Siam (later Thailand) since 1782. The Palace has been used for the King, his court and his royal government until 1925.
The buildings has been inspired by Chinese and Malay architecture and are well looked after. The entire palace is continuous refurbished, so if you enjoy architecture and courtyards, you are in for a treat. The area has numerous buildings, due to the fact that the development has followed the King’s fore over 200 years. Inside the Palace, you can find the Emerald Buddha Temple, which you properly know already, together with all the other treasures, gold and wealth that this Kings of Siam and Thailand was surrounded by, while the citizens tried to make a living in the streets.
