As a iconic as they come, The American Museum of Natural History, AMNH in short, is one of the three museums you must visit, when you are i NYC, along with The Met and MoMA. Founded in 1869 prior to constructing of the present building, the Museum the Arsenal Building in Central Park. Some years later in 1877 the original Victorian Gothic Building opening and the beginning of the museum as we know it today.
