As you know from Rocking the Empire, one of the best views over Manhatten is from the top of Rockefeller Center. Now it is time for another, small and compact picture post from this observation deck.
The views are great for the entire Manhatten, and we chose to go there once more. Not only for looking at the city and Empire, but for enjoying the changing lights, when the sun was setting towards the west. So on a freezing cold, windy evening, we bought a new set of tickets and went towards the top, to shoot a set of pictures for you guys to enjoy.
We loved the ambiance of the light, while the city started to light up more and more. It is allowed to bring a small tripod, which comes in handy when the light is getting low, and the temperatures follow. The scenes are chancing in front of your eyes as the sun is setting and we would recommend you to go to Top of the Rocks fx an hour or an 1.5 hour before sunset, and enjoy the scenery happening up there. Furthermore, try to chose a warm day, if you have the oppertunity. We hope you will enjoy the pictures, surely we where freezing after shooting them.
