At the beautiful Siam Kempinski property in Bangkok, Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin is located. As a part of our cooperation with Kempinski, we visited Siam Kempinski to meet the Director of Public Relations Yanisa Ratanakosit to have a tour around the hotel, and enjoy a lunch together, because we didn’t have time to stay at the hotel. First off, if you love Kempinski luxury and want to stay in the very center of shopping in Bangkok, you should consider Siam Kempinski, because this property is in the dead center of all the shopping. Furthermore the standard of Kempinski hotels is some of the very best we have tried, and we are quite sure, that next time we return to Bangkok, we have to try a night or two here at least. The gardens of the property is a very beautiful and quite oasis, where you can relax and enjoy life, when you need a little rest from the vibrant city on the other side of the walls.
We have the great honor of a beautiful lunch on Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin, voted as one of Asia’s 50 best restaurants in 2014. The restaurant is a sister to the only Thai restaurant in the wold holding a Michelin Star, Kiin Kiin in Copenhagen, our own hometown and country. The founder of Kiin Kiin, Henrik Yde Andersen, is the conceptual chef of Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin, which just like Kiin Kiin offeres a modern interpretation of Thai cuisine by using Western cooking technique and presentation. Behind beautifully composed food presentations, the familiar flavors of traditional dished are maintained with the use of the freshest ingredients. Sara Bua has also a lounge area for pre-dinner cocktails, as this is also one of the signatures of Kiin Kiin in Copenhagen, where it is possible to mingle and warm up, before heading to the table to enjoy the dinner.
