When we was staying at Coco Bodu Hithi – of course we had to try the Coco Spa Maldives – Winner of World Luxury Spa’s in 2014. So after our jetlag has settled a bit, we booked a treatment at the spa, which is so beautiful located in a little water villa enclave of it own in the laguna. The spa has the most beautiful treatment rooms with stunning views over the sea. When we arrived at the spa we started out with answering a few question about our skin and preferred treatments, and thereafter were escorted to the private couple villa, where we was about to enjoy the “Journey to Maldives” treatment.
This treatment is inspired by the traditional maldivian massage, and started out with a foot wash thereafter the conch massage turning over in a more traditional full body treatment, which leaves you fully relaxed on the massage table while you can enjoy the sight of the water and fish under the glass floor of the spa villa. After the massage, we got a full body scrub which according to our skintypes, and while the scrub was working, we had a headmassage.
After a short while, wrapped in towels, as the scrub worked on our skin, it was time for a shower before jumping in to the huge tub for a bath with lemon and flowers. The tub in situated at the front of the treatment villa, so the views we had here was so relaxing and beautiful. The last part of the 2 hours treatment, was a lotion, before we could leave the spa, feeling like brand new persons.
The spa has one of the best locations we have ever seen, and the big couple villas are perfect for this romantic and “honeymoonish” feeling. The therapists are very professional, ours where from Bali and Jakarta. They where very sweet and listened to our wishes and maked the treatment very close to perfect. If you go to Coco Bodu Hithi, you will be able to take the relaxation to an even higher level by visiting Coco Spa a few times during the stay. It will leave you feeling like never before.
