It was a wonderful time at Four Seasons Seychelles. The transfer from the airport was a lovely BMW with a personal driver. Arriving at the hotel, we were very impressed by the sheer beauty of the property, constructed on the jungle hillside with views over the turquoise the Indian Ocean.
The check in procedure was very fast and convenient, so within very short time, we were able to relax in the villa.
Four Seasons Seychelles has 67 fabulous villas, which can seem quite surprising as the resort feels very intimate and private. We stayed in a Hilltop Ocean View Villa, build in tropical surroundings. The villa is vast and with a private pool. Prepare to spend a lot of time in the villa, as the views over the ocean. The luxury of having a private pool and outdoor shower, a lovely nest to relax in, is relaxing and pampering. The villa location amongst nature and the sea are stunning.
Restaurants And Bars
The main restaurant ZEZ serves a marvelous breakfast. Everything you can imagine is present; a full buffet, a la carte, and daily special dishes. An excellent and diverse way to start the day.
ZEZ has concentrated the views over the sea from the hillside. ZEZ also serves dinner, with spectacular ocean and sunset views.
We also dined at the Japanese cuisine, the choices very simple but fresh and delicious. Well prepared with exquisite taste. Kannel restaurant serves genuine interpretations of Creole food, combined with local music and dancing. Dining in Four Seasons Seychelles is quite expensive, but this is as expected for a luxury resort in this class.
Beach and Pool
Soft, white powder like sand is the main ingredient of the beach at Four Seasons Seychelles. The beach is literally beyond imagination, and one of the most fantastic on Mahe. The water is blue and excellent visibility. The beach is a little away from the villas, but the buggy service makes it very easy and convenient. 5 minutes and you are on the beach.
The beauty of the beach can also work as background for your meditation. Take a small hike up the hill, and experience something extraordinary. The rocks have the most amazing and speechless view over the resort and the beach. The perfect venue to rest, and clear your mind while recharging your “battery”.
Try to get a villa as high as possible, as the resort is all about the views over the beach. Villa 160 is our favorite.
Remember to visit the spa rooftop terrace at sunset time, and you get a breathtaking view. If you are lucky, you will see an amazing sunset you will never forget.
Four Seasons Seychelles is one of the best choices if you are saying at the main island. In typically FS style everything is perfect, down to the smallest detail. As you can read from the review, the views are stunning. The location of the Villas is beautifully and the layout very spacious. The property has an excellent design, and nature is amazing. Unlike Maldives, Seychelles has a great combination of the sea, the mountains, and the beach. All the best you can ask for in a luxury resort.
Four Seasons Seychelles is a very expensive resort, but you get great value for you money. And in the end, any price is worth paying to go to heaven for a while.
