The silence was killed as the boatman was starting up the loud, noisy 4-stroke car-engine, mounted at the rear of a old wooden boat, with a 6 meter long axel making the water splash behind us. After our trip to Khao Phing Kan, as you might have seen in The name is Bond, we decided to make it on our own. So we hooked with Moe, a local boatman that we found at the beach at Beyond Resort in Klong Muang. Moe, who wasn’t a man of many words in english, understood our plan, and agreed to take us out to some of the islands, we wanted to see, but without all the tourists. So we got in the old long tail, and set out from the shore.
