We love Singapore, this small country has so many different things to do and see, and here we have collected our Top 10 things to do in Singapore
Gardens by the bay
As a modern interpretation of the Singapore Botanic Gardens, Gardens by the Bay offers a universe of fantastic impressions. We were here twice during our stay in Singapore, once during daytime to visit the Cloud Forest, Flower Dome and Sun Pavilion. On the other occasion, we visited the open-air park at night time, where the Supertree Grove looks like a scenery from the Avatar Movie. Take a walk along the skyway, chill our in the Supertree-top bistro 50 meters over the pavement or take a walk 22 metres above the ground at the Supertrees vertical gardens. Marvel at the world’s tallest indoor waterfalls in the Cloud Forest at this award-winning horticultural park. A visit to Gardens by the Bay take some time, so make sure to have plenty of time and battery on the camera. One of the great things to do in Singapore

The weather here changes very quickly from sunny to rain, so take an umbrella with you no matter if it is a sunny day, we spend almost an hour standing under a roof, as we didn’t listen to our own judgment.
Marina Bay Sands Cocktail and dinner
Great place to hang out. Sentosa is a perfect place to relax and chill out, and where you can find many good restaurants and enjoy life. Gone are the days when the island was a humble fishing village, known as Pulau Belakang Mati or ‘Island of Death from Behind’ in Malay. Because of its strategic location, it even served as a British military fortress up till World War II. In the 1970s, it was given a dramatic makeover and a new name, Sentosa, which means ‘peace’ and ‘tranquillity’ in Malay. Sentosa is home to renowned golf courses, a yachting marina and luxurious residences, and is also a holiday destination for Singaporeans and tourists alike. Nature buffs, history fans, spa-goers, adventure junkies – there’s something for everyone. Sentosa has many good places to grab a bite for lunch or dinner, and in person, we can recommend the seafood restaurant. Beach lovers will love the island’s 3.2km stretch of sandy beaches, namely Siloso Beach, Palawan Beach and Tanjong Beach. Sip cocktails with your feet nestled in a warm golden sand, flex your muscles with a game of beach volleyball or get wet riding some waves. Getting there is easy too, just 15 minutes by car from the city or a short ride on the Sentosa Express from VivoCity. You can also take the cable car from HarbourFront, a vibrant neighbourhood across the water, and enjoy spectacular views of Sentosa and the city.
Singapore Zoo allows you to get really close to the wild and at the same time keeping the animals in an environment that closely matches their natural habitat.
Whether you are going with children or as a romantic date, the zoo is a great place to be and easy to spend a half a day here.
The Night safari is very popular, so our advice is to go between 8-9pm as that is when the animals are fed and you can see all the animals from leopard to cheetah to the lions and tigers. But remember to bring your mosquito spray with you and have a lot of time – its very normal to have big crowds there. Book your tickets online to avoid long queues & waste of time at onsite ticketing. Important information is that you can buy Ben & Jerrys right beside the queue.
